NBS Domestic is retiring

The construction industry is rapidly becoming more digitised, and so too are the tools needed to work safely and effectively. This digitisation has accelerated in recent months as the industry has adapted to working remotely during the pandemic.

Technology has also moved on significantly in the last few years and we want to make sure that all our customers benefit from the latest developments and security measures.

We will therefore be starting the process of retiring NBS Domestic and recommend that all of our customers move to our cloud-based specification writing platform, NBS Chorus.

NBS Chorus includes a small works library that contains a selection of content specifically for smaller projects, along with a set of innovative features designed to make specification writing easier.

What happens next?

NBS Domestic is available to buy until the end of June 2021 and customers who have made a purchase by this date will have access to the Domestic website to complete and publish projects until December 2021. After December 2021, the Domestic website and support will no longer be available.

Moving to NBS Chorus

We offer a range of subscription options for NBS Chorus with flexible payment options, designed to suit different organisations and types of projects.

Over the coming months, we will be releasing several additional features that we know are important for practices like yours including:

  • Domestic preliminaries
  • Additional refurbishment content
  • Production of a Financial Summary
  • Export to Keynotes for CAD

If you would like to discuss the best option for your practice and how we can help you to make the move to NBS Chorus, please get in touch today by emailing info@thenbs.com or call us on 0345 456 9594.
