All specifications created using the NBS Domestic Specification website are stored online on a secure NBS server. This means that your specifications are available from any computer that has access to the internet, providing the correct login details are entered.

All specifications are stored for 12 months after their creation and then for another 12 months after being given a status of issued.

To help keep your documents secure, it is important to have a strong password and not to share that password. NBS Domestic Specification passwords should be between six and ten alphanumeric characters in length. Here are some tips to help you create a strong password:
